Washington Wind Symphony: Lux Aeterna
As darkness lingers and the winter solstice nears, we look forward to the promise of brighter days ahead. To ignite that hopeful spirit, join the Washington Wind Symphony under the baton of Dr. Ed Powell as we illuminate the season with a festive concert titled “Lux Aeterna,” (Eternal Light) on Sunday, December 16. The symphony will be performing holiday favorites such as "You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch" and sweeping epics like "Russian Christmas Music".
The Washington Wind Symphony is a nonprofit music organization that exists to promote quality musical literature to audiences of all ages for more than 20 years. Its 55 members are under the direction of Dr. Edwin Powell.
