(MITshows.com) While this story is set in 1905\, the village of Anatevka serves as a mirror to our society today. With losses and pain\, joys and triumphs\, Fiddler on the Roof is a universal story for everyone. \nJoin our community based ensembles\, as we explore the ways in which embracing change can open new pathways as we preserve the traditions of the past while progressing into the future. All cast and crew are local community members. Everyone who auditioned got a part no matter their age\, race\, background\, or experience. All the routes will be fully supported with bike mechanics\, volunteer route marshals\, rest stops with food and water\, cheering volunteers and more. \nThe Pacific Northwest Tour de Cure will feature three scenic routes with the 62 and 33-mile routes traveling on the East Lake Sammamish trail and around Lake Sammamish. The East Lake Sammamish Trail (ELST) is part of the Locks to Lakes Corridor\, a long regional trail corridor that connects the Burke-Gilman Trail\, Sammamish River Trail\, Marymoor Connector Trail\, and Issaquah-Preston Trail\, linking Seattle to the Eastside and the Cascade Foothills. You will enjoy the serenity of this trail. \nWhen you register for the Tour de Cure\, you become a part of the American Diabetes Association’s largest fundraising event. Joining you will be thousands of participants from around the country who come together to directly impact the lives of people facing the daily challenges of diabetes and their loved ones. You can also participate in the People’s Choice Awards\, where you get to vote for your favorite young entrepreneur. On October 30\, 1926\, Letitia Whitehall\, a former Redmond school girl went missing in Kirkland. Two weeks later\, she was found in the Sammamish River near the Slough Bridge in Kenmore. She had been murdered. Local historian Tom Hitzroth has spent 26 years investigating this incident\, which became one of the more famous crimes in the county. Through interviews with family members\, others who knew her\, newspaper clippings\, inquest and investigator documents\, court records\, and as well as other supporting documentation\, Tom will present the facts as he knows them of this cold case. \nTom Hitzroth is a master storyteller.
