This three-day outdoor festival features approximately 60 artist vendor booths\, a community art project\, kids’ chalk art\, and live entertainment. \nThe Redmond Arts Festival is produced in conjunction with Redmond’s Annual Derby Days celebration July 12-13 at City Hall Campus that features parades\, bicycle races\, live music\, and kids’ activities. The entire City of Redmond is activated with art and festivities on these days. Attendees can park for free at Redmond Town Center\, and then ride the free Microsoft Shuttle to Derby Days! \nARTIST SHOWCASE AT VALA ART CENTER\, JULY 8-28\, 2024 \nDuring July\, we are showcasing a sampling of works by festival artists at our gallery location\, VALA Art Center\, 8020 161st Avenue NE #104\, Redmond\, WA 98052―across from Downtown Park\, in the heart of Redmond! The founder and visionary leader of Ananda Mela\, Harry Terhanian\, and dozens of tireless volunteers of VCC have worked year-round to offer this beautiful\, free festival to Redmond’s residents and visitors this weekend. Ananda Mela has been conducted annually since 2010. Ananda Mela aims to showcase Indian arts and culture with intricately crafted displays\, entertainment on multiple stages\, participatory activities and contests for everyone\, informative and enlightening presentations\, and other memorable experiences including tasty food and irresistible shopping.
