Since its debut in 1994, Alegría has been seen by an estimated 10 million people as the show is one of Cirque du Soleil’s longest running hits. The Spanish word for “joy,” Alegría takes place in a sensuous, dark and moody world where the struggle for freedom is a constant battle.
Cirque du Soleil’s Alegría is abounded with breathtaking, eye-popping visuals as well as awe-inspiring feats of movement by Cirque’s cast of dancers, physical actors, athletes, and circus performers (acrobats, contortionists, aerialists, and the like), all within a big tent. It’s a true spectacle of a show and we couldn’t be more thrilled to welcome the memorable event back to The Big Top at Marymoor Park, beginning January 18th and running through March 13th.
