Flannel, football, and pumpkin-flavored everything! It’s that time of year here in Redmond, WA. With crisp weather and an array of awesome events, autumn is one of the greatest times to experience everything Redmond has to offer. The vibrant scenery comes alive with the the turning of the leaves, colorful pumpkins and decorations start popping up, and fall flavors emerge everywhere. Whatever your reason for visiting, you’re sure to find plenty of fall fun in Redmond to help make the most of the season.

Spend a lazy day strolling the Redmond Saturday Market located at its new location—9900 Willows Rd. NE Redmond, WA 98052. You’ll love the variety of crafts, flowers, and fresh apples. If you’d rather, you can sip local ciders from Locust Cider and Brewing while roaming Redmond Town Center. The Locust menu extends beyond beverages with inventive flatbread pizzas and savory snacks. Plus, they feature a kid’s corner for the wee ones and retro video games for all ages—It’s a guaranteed good time and it’s located right in the heart of Redmond.

Redmond’s fall festival season includes family-friendly outdoor options such as Let’s Move Redmond. On September 12th from 10 AM to 2 PM, the space from Downtown Park to Redmond Central Connector will be blocked off for this community get together. The event celebrates local businesses & organizations, and fosters civic pride in our streets. There will be a pop-up protected bike lane, kid’s bike rodeo, community organizations, and endless opportunities to play, learn, and connect with members of the Redmond community.

Autumn in Redmond is peak apple season—Apple picking, apple pie, apple cider, caramel apples, apple dumplings, apple cider donuts–You name it! Redmond’s very own, NW Bloom Farm is a local apple picking farm and they’re open again for a classic fall ritual. They ask to sign up before visiting, and to bring your own picking tools.
