Have you ever wished that you had one more day in the week to get things done? Well, the month of February features that magical extra day you desire, as 2020 is Leap Year! Take this opportunity to take yourself, and set aside the extra day to explore the variety of healing activities in and around Redmond, Washington. Spoil yourself with a vast array of events, attractions, shopping, dining, and outdoor amenities in our lovely city.

We invite you to Geek Out on you, as you “treat yo’ self!”

If your day-to-day is demanding, unwind with a stress-relieving stretch at Discover Yoga. Enroll in their Yoga for Anxiety class to explore the tools you need to help manage the feelings of pressure. This weekly class is also a great way to continue any fitness resolutions you made for the new year!

If you’re visiting from out of town, all of Redmond’s well-appointed hotels offer access to fitness centers to help you reach your healthy goals!   

Redmond is well-known for unique art and personal expression within our welcoming community. Illustrate your artistic side and enroll in a Bob Ross style painting class on February 22nd, led by a certified Bob Ross instructor at the Redmond Town Center.

If your expressive talents are more performance-based, SoulFood CoffeeHouse hosts a community Open Mic Night on the first Saturday and third Friday, where musicians and poets can sign up to share their creative spirits.

Don’t forget to express love and care for others on Valentine’s Day this month. If you receive joy from giving your loved ones a handmade card, be sure to check out the Printmaking Medley course hosted at the Art Studio at Grass Lawn Park. This is an introductory course open to all skill levels, where participants will explore collagraph, relief, and monotype printmaking styles.
