DESCRIPTION:Meet volunteers from Save a Forgotten Equine (SAFE) and learn about the work SAFE does helping abused and neglected horses in Western WA\, and how you can get involved. \nSpecial appearance from 2-4pm by SAFE ambassadors Sunny D and Shasta\, a mother/son pair of miniature horses rescued in 2011. Meet the minis and take photos with this great duo. DESCRIPTION:What is a closet swap?\nBring CLEAN and GENTLY worn clothing\, handbags\, and jewelry to any Big Block Brewing location. For every useable item\, you get a ticket which you can exchange for items. We will accept children’s clothing but they are not eligible for tickets. This is a fun chance to up-cycle and refresh your closet all while helping a good cause. All remaining items will donated to Acres of Diamonds. \nWhat is Acres of Diamonds?\nHomelessness is a result of abuse\, addiction\, and/or domestic violence in the home. Acres of Diamonds is a community-based long-term transitional housing for homeless Moms and their kids. They provide programs and services to the Moms and their kids to help them become self-sustaining and successful. \nHow does it work?\nClearly label your drop-off bag with your name\, phone number\, and email. You will not receive credit if you don’t.\nDrop off at any of the three Big Block Brewing locations between now and Saturday\, November 11. Every useable item = a ticket. Any non-usable items will be returned to you upon check-in. If you want to donate items and not shop that is ok too. Tickets are exchanged for items. 2 tickets = 1 item. You have the option to buy more tickets\, additional tickets are $5 and 100% of the proceeds go to Acres of Diamonds. We will have a QR code to their donation portal. \nWe will accept children’s clothing but they are not eligible for tickets.\nAccepting NEW and IN package underwear\, bras\, and socks of all sizes and colors.\nThis is a fundraiser so come out\, have fun and show your support whether your shopping or not. For every award-winning Raspberry Blonde or Mosaic IPA pint that is sold\, $1 is donated to Acres of Diamonds. Drinking beer on Saturday\, November 18th will help support these moms and kids! The East Lake Sammamish Trail (ELST) is part of the Locks to Lakes Corridor\, a long regional trail corridor that connects the Burke-Gilman Trail\, Sammamish River Trail\, Marymoor Connector Trail\, and Issaquah-Preston Trail\, linking Seattle to the Eastside and the Cascade Foothills. You will enjoy the serenity of this trail. \nWhen you register for the Tour de Cure\, you become a part of the American Diabetes Association’s largest fundraising event.
