DESCRIPTION:(Ages 6+) Come join Bach to Rock Redmond as we host a monthly open mic at the Old Firehouse Teen Center for local musicians of all-ages. Sign-up to share music\, test out your new material\, or just show up and support local student artists. Individuals or small groups of 1-2 performers are welcome! Each act is limited to 5 minutes\, and as a reminder\, this is a family friendly event. All experience levels welcome. \nPerformers are asked to be there before 6 p.m. to do a head count before the event starts. If time allows\, drop-in participants may be allowed to perform near the end of the event. She will be cooking up Pozole Verde for us all. This will be a gluten free and dairy free base with a chicken and a vegetarian option. \nPlenty of bubbles to be had. But beer\, wine and in-house hard seltzer will be available. \n+15 vendors! Self-care services and creator/maker vendors will be in the brewery. Pamper yourself and shop with friends. This event will be held in the Old Redmond Schoolhouse on Saturday\, 10:30 AM\, March 9\, 2024. The event is free to RHS members\, with a suggested donation of $5 for non-members. \nLisa Rich will discuss her commercial space company Xplore\, designed to collect infinite streams of proprietary data from the XCRAFT®\, its next-generation satellite. Her company’s ability to proliferate―and provide access to many types of Earth Observation data―will help solve many global challenges across the commercial sector\, national security\, environment\, nonprofit sector\, education\, research\, the media industry\, and more. \nShe said\, “I welcome the opportunity to share knowledge of the space industry and educate community members on the exciting work we are doing at Xplore.
