And\, with an extensive network of parks and trails\, on-street bike lanes and off-street trails for easy access to downtown\, neighborhoods\, businesses\, parks\, and even to other cities\, it is “one of a small\, but growing number of cities designated as a Bicycle Friendly Community by the League of American Bicyclists.” (Redmond.gov). \nJoin the Society to learn how Redmond has earned the designation of “Bicycle Capital of the Northwest” ― from Derby Days races to “Sufferin’ Summits” to Ride Around Mount Rainier in One Day (RAMROD) to the Jerry Baker Memorial Velodrome at Marymoor Park. \nPhoto: Talus view\, Sufferin’ Summits ride\, September 2023.
