From the mid-1800s to today\, people have arrived in search of new beginnings—sometimes driven by necessity\, sometimes by hope. Their presence transformed industries\, impacted Indigenous communities\, and influenced the cultural fabric of the region. \nEarly immigrants brought the traditions and expertise of their homelands. Chinese miners\, hop farmers\, and railroad workers carved out livelihoods despite exclusionary laws. Scandinavian immigrants contributed to fishing\, boatbuilding\, and logging industries. Whether you’re catching up with friends or meeting new ones\, this is the ideal way to spend a midweek morning with family\, community\, and a whole lot of playtime! \nThis is an unsupervised activity\, and an adult must be present with children at all times. Kids Zone staff will be in attendance as well. Registration is required for a child/adult pair.
