DESCRIPTION:Come as you are to this bimonthly no-expectations social space for our transgender and non-binary community. Enjoy good food\, board and card games\, and chill conversation with others in the queer community. You are also welcome to bring a book to read or an art project to work on while quietly enjoying the company of other gender-diverse folks. Feel free to bring a game of your own to share or just hang out and chat!\nEach meet-up will be at a different location\, so sign up for Pride Across the Bridge newsletter or watch our website. Meetings on the fourth Thursday of each month are hosted at Redmond Library in meeting room 1. Masks are encouraged to keep our community safe! All ages are welcome to come. This space is led by our Good Vibes Fairy\, Milo! Please observe Pride Across the Bridge general event rules. Snacks and drinks are occasionally provided in this space.\n-This is a safe space for all. Any behavior that goes against the 2SLGBTQIA+ and BIPOC community will result in an individual being asked to leave. \n-All ages are welcome\, but we ask minors or other folks who are under legal guardianship be accompanied by a guardian or friend when attending this social event. It all started in 1940 as a bike derby and parade for the community to raise money for holiday decorations and athletic equipment. The founder and visionary leader of Ananda Mela\, Harry Terhanian\, and dozens of tireless volunteers of VCC have worked year-round to offer this beautiful\, free festival to Redmond’s residents and visitors this weekend. Ananda Mela has been conducted annually since 2010. Ananda Mela aims to showcase Indian arts and culture with intricately crafted displays\, entertainment on multiple stages\, participatory activities and contests for everyone\, informative and enlightening presentations\, and other memorable experiences including tasty food and irresistible shopping.

Starting from Redmond’s Marymoor Park\, the Harvest Half is a fast\, flat out-and-back half-marathon that goes west out of Marymoor Park and north on the Sammamish River Trail before returning to the start. Whether this is your first half-marathon\, or you are experienced with this distance\, this 13.1-mile course will give you an opportunity for your running goals to come to fruition. Come support a local race put on by Lake Sammamish Run Club and Seattle United Runners and finish your summer with a bang.
