Have you ever wondered how to identify and transform garden botanicals into herbal balms? Join horticulturist & herbalist Robin Haglund of Garden Mentors in our two-part summer plant medicine program. In this second session, we’ll return to the farm to harvest fresh, fragrant herbs. Then, we’ll meet up in the hands-on classroom to transform what we’ve gathered, along with dried and infused herbalist’s choice herbs, into luscious healing salves and refreshing hydrosols. You’ll learn simple techniques for crafting with minimal ingredients, common kitchen tools, and you’ll get a chance to experience preparing hydrosols with an herbalists’ copper alembic.
You’ll learn about wonderful qualities of many plants, and in addition to taking home samples of what you harvest and craft in each class, you’ll also take home the skills to DIY your own herbal goods for a lifetime.
You don’t want to miss this two part series!
