Immerse yourself in the energetic ambiance as we animate the streets\, anticipating over 1\,500 attendees to converge\, fostering a dynamic nexus of connectivity. \nPlease note: The winner of the Grand Prize for the Overlake Intercultural District Passport Challenge will be announced at this event!

DESCRIPTION:Come and join in the festivities for the historic milestone opening of Sound Transit’s 2 Line\, marking the dawn of a new chapter in regional transportation across the Eastside and fostering the evolution towards a transit-centric community. All are invited to partake in the festivities scheduled from 11am – 4pm at all eight new stations – be sure to stop by the Redmond Technology Station and Overlake Village Station for activities including: \n\nLive musical performances\nCultural dance showcases including Mariachi\, Lion Dancers and Taiko!\nIndulge in culinary delights from Dote Coffee Bar\, Los Chilangos\, MamiTran\, Northwest Share\, Cafecito Mexican Bakery\, and Mayuri\nHop on a Lime Scooter from Overlake Village Station to Aloft across the street for a culinary journey including mocktails\, cocktails\, and a special screening of safety competition winning reels\nPhoto booth opportunities with Nintendo’s Mario and Luigi at Redmond Technology Statin\nPocket-sized maps detailing all 8 stations and transportation access instructions\nGet assistance with ORCA card management: learn how to reload your ORCA card in Redmond\, and pre-loaded cards available for eligible individuals.\n\nFree Microsoft Connector Shuttles to Redmond Technology Station will be running every 15 minutes from Redmond City Hall\, the Downtown Park and the Together Center starting at 10:30am\, with the last shuttle leaving Redmond Technology Station at 4:30pm. \nPlease be aware:  Travel on the 2 Line will require fare payment. ORCA cards will be available for purchase on-site.
