About the Instructor:
Ashwini Sadekar, the modern renaissance woman, is a dynamic artist and teacher who seamlessly merges engineering, art, and yoga into a powerful, holistic practice. Born in India and now based in Issaquah, Washington, her work draws on the rich cultural heritage of India and the breathtaking natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest.

With a tech mind and artistic vision, Ashwini blends intellect, expression, logic, and spirituality. A Gage Academy of Art graduate and Carleton University alum with a master’s in Electronics Engineering, her meticulous work reflects her study of traditional Western oil painting under renowned teachers Steve Huston, Charles Miano, Camille Przewodek, and Kimberly Trowbridge.

Her prismatic paintings achieve a delicate balance between impressionism and realism and draw viewers into her creative universe. As a meditator and yoga teacher, holistic practices form the core of her creative process. Ashwini blends visual arts with mindful living, crafting joyful radiating paintings.
