Empowering Women & Building Strength
Rue Khosa, the owner and founder of The Perfect Push, hails from Zimbabwe, where the Shona culture has a tradition called “kugarira”—an older female family member moves in with the expectant mother to offer emotional and physical support before and after childbirth. This support lasts up to six months, helping the new mother recover mentally, physically, and emotionally. Inspired by this practice, Rue created The Perfect Push to bring that sense of community and healing to women in the U.S. The studio offers personalized fitness and wellness programs designed to empower women throughout their motherhood journey and beyond, providing a supportive space for recovery, strength, and overall well-being.
