Redmond recognizes that the land we live on in Redmond sits within the ancestral territory of the Snoqualmie Indian Tribe and other Coast Salish peoples. The City of Redmond officially acknowledged this in 2024 as part of its Ancestral Land Acknowledgement.

During Native American Heritage Month, we acknowledging that history—and thinking about what it means for how we engage with the land, culture, and community.
