Cafecito Mexican Bakery was founded by Lizeet and Porfirio to bring the first and only Mexican bakery to the Eastside. Inspired by the tradition of sharing pan dulce (Mexican pastries) and cafecito (coffee) with family and friends, the bakery aims to create a welcoming space that fosters community. Porfirio brings hands-on bakery experience from Mexico, while Lizeet adds technical expertise from her culinary education and work in the restaurant industry. Together, they craft authentic, culturally inspired recipes with passion and care. Cafecito is also dedicated to giving back, regularly supporting local food banks, schools, and sponsoring cultural events like Día de los Muertos. With each purchase, customers help fund initiatives that make a meaningful impact in the community.
