Join VALA Eastside, Magali Lenarczak, and Redmond Association of Spokenword (RASP) hosting an art reception and community Poetry Jam!
Join us for the Third Annual Downtown Redmond Art Walk! Reflect on Magali’s art to create your own custom poem! Meet Captain Haiku! Add a line to a community poem to be displayed in the VALA window! All activities will be guided by RASP writers.

About the Artist:
Magali Lenarczak is a Redmond-based artist who grew up in the stunning landscapes of the French Alps and French Riviera. Her love of adventure eventually brought her to the U.S. She settled in the beautiful Pacific Northwest with her husband and family. Magali’s art is all about telling stories through vibrant colors and heartfelt emotion. Each piece she creates comes from a deep connection to what inspires her. More info: www.magalipaint.com
About Redmond Association of Spokenword (RASP):
RASP was founded in 1997 to promote literary arts and activities in Redmond, Washington, and the surrounding area. We meet on the last Friday of each month from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM (Pacific time) for a featured presentation and an open-mic reading at Centro Cultural Mexicano. RASP also holds a monthly writing critique group via Zoom on the second Tuesday of each month from 6:30 PM to 8:45 PM (Pacific time). All events are open to the public and usually free.
