Fútbol for All Speaker Series: Soccer 101

In partnership with Amazon, the City of Redmond is excited to launch the Fútbol for All Speaker Series, a community program celebrating the world’s game and getting residents ready for the FIFA World Cup 2026™.
The series begins Monday, Oct. 27, from 6–8 p.m. with Soccer 101, an interactive discussion led by James Riley, Seattle Sounders legend, founder of JR7 SOCCER, and official SeattleFWC26 World Cup Ambassador. Riley will be joined by two former Sounders teammates for a lively panel covering the fundamentals of soccer, its global culture, and why the World Cup is one of the world’s most unifying events.
This discussion-focused forum is open to everyone—from those brand new to soccer to fans wanting more confidence cheering during the World Cup. Attendees can join a Q&A and enjoy a meet-and-greet with Riley and his panel.
