Kids’ Art Workshop: Self-Portraits Inspired by the Masters

As part of VALA’s current art exhibit, “Self-Portraits in Action,” young artists are invited to explore identity and imagination through a hands-on mixed media workshop.

We’ll take inspiration from famous self-portraits throughout art history, discovering how artists expressed who they are — and how we can do the same.

Children will experiment with color, line, and expression to make portraits that reflect their inner world.

All materials provided for this FREE workshop. Parent supervision required. Drop-in participation is welcome!

NOTE: Adults are welcome to sit and draw if they wish!
