Spring Youth Soccer League (Redmond Parks & Rec and Soccer Stars!)

(Ages 3-8) Join our first-ever 6-week Recreational Soccer League, launching in partnership with East King County Soccer Stars! This Saturday-only league combines practice and game play in one hour, making it easy, fun, and developmentally appropriate for young players. Click here to register.
League Information & Details for Families
Season & Schedule
- Saturdays, May 9 – June 20, 2026 (no session Memorial Day weekend)
- Sessions scheduled between 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- 30-minute practice + 30-minute game each week
- Saturdays only — no weekday practices
Location: Great Lawn, located between the Redmond Senior & Community Center and City Hall
Age Groups (Coed) & Times
- Ages 3–4: Will play from 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.
- Ages 5–6: Will play from 10:15 a.m. – 11:15 a.m.
- Ages 7–8: Will play from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Age groups and team numbers may adjust based on enrollment. A minimum of 15 players per age group is required.
Coaching, Play & Equipment:
- Professionally coached by Soccer Stars (no parent coaches)
- One new soccer skill introduced each week for practice time
- Small-sided games (3v3 or 4v4) for more touches and active play
- All equipment provided
Teams & Jerseys – Teams are formed by the City of Redmond and balanced by age, experience, school, and friend requests. *We will do our best to accommodate friend requests but can’t make guarantees that all requests will be made.
All participants receive a Soccer Stars & City of Redmond co-branded jersey to keep
It is recommended participants wear gym clothes/soccer uniform, athletic/tennis shoes and to bring a water bottle.
Ready to play? Whether your child is trying soccer for the first time or building on existing skills, this league is a fun and supportive place to play, learn, and grow. All levels are welcome, No experience necessary!
The youth soccer league is led by East King County Soccer Stars Coaches & Staff.
Refund and Transfer Policy:
Cancellations and transfer requests received at least 7 days prior to activity start date receive a full refund of activity fees, minus a 10% processing fee. Cancellations or transfers received less than 7 days prior to activity start date receive a 50% refund of activity fee, or 50% of activity fee transferred to a future program. There are no refunds for cancellations received less than 3 business days before start date. The credit card processing fee is nonrefundable. Exceptions can be made for illness.
