Free, On-Demand Rides in Redmond

The City of Redmond is partnering with Circuit to boost community connection through local microtransit! This free, all-electric, on-demand ride service will make it easier for residents and visitors to travel around Downtown Redmond and Education Hill in an affordable and sustainable way. Service is expected to expand to Southeast Redmond in March. Whether you’re visiting local businesses, catching the light rail, or running errands, getting around town is now simpler—no car needed. This pilot program is set to run through June 2027.

How it Works

Request a Ride: Use the free Circuit app to request your free ride.
Shared Rides: You may share your trip with other passengers heading in the same direction.
Walk-to-Pickup: For faster pickups, the app may direct you to a nearby location.

Hours
The RedLink shuttle will run 7 days per week.

Monday – Thursday: 7 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Friday: 7 a.m. – 9 p.m.
Saturday: 9 a.m. – 9 p.m.
Sunday: 9 a.m. – 7 p.m.

How much does it cost to ride?

RedLink is a free service.
Do I have to tip drivers?

Gratuities for drivers are appreciated, but never required.
Do I need the app?

Yes, in order to book a ride you need to download the free Ride Circuit app.

What is the age for solo ridership?

You must be 16+ to ride the RedLink alone.
Can I bring kids or pets?

Children must meet local car seat and seatbelt requirements. Riders must provide their own car seat and install them correctly and independently. Pets are allowed at the driver’s discretion, and if allowed, must be secured via leash or in a pet carrier; service animals are always welcome.
Are the vehicles electric?

Yes. Circuit uses a fully electric fleet to help reduce local emissions.
Will the service expand?

Service growth depends on demand and available funding.
I'm visiting from outside the USA, can I use RedLink/Circuit service?

Yes, Circuit service is available for anyone visiting our service areas; however, the Circuit app is only available from the US Android Play Store and Apple App Store.
