Repeating Poetry Programs
- Redmond Association of Spokenword (RASP): All Programs FREE to the public
- Featured Reader followed by an Open Mic opportunity on the final Friday of each month from 6:30 – 8:30 pm at Centro Cultural Mexicano
- Writing critique groups are hosted monthly via Zoom on the second Tuesday of each month from 6:30 – 8:46 pm
- SoulFood Community Open Mic Night/Poetry Night: $5 entrance fee
- Featured poets, followed by an Open Mic on the first Saturday of the month starting at 6 pm at SoulFood Coffee House
- Redmond Senior & Community Center
- “Poetry for Everyone” taught by local poet Rachel Kessler on Wednesdays from 6:30 – 8:00 pm at the Redmond Senior & Community Center
- Brick & Mortar Books
- Brick & Mortar Books hosts readings from local and touring writers of all kinds, including poets.

Parks to Read/Write Poetry in Redmond
- Downtown Park: A great place for community members to gather and enjoy poetry in the heart of Downtown Redmond
- Downtown Redmond Art Walk will feature a poetry reading on the Buoyant Pavillion on Thursday, September 18
- Anderson Park is the first and oldest park in the city, featuring unique art, rentable historic cabins, and a brick plaza with outdoor stage plus a soon to be opened community garden.
- Farrel-McWhirter Park features a children’s animal farm, horse arena, covered picnic shelters, trails, and more making this a wonderful space to read/write poetry!
- Watershed Preserve is a natural open space and trail system, making for a relaxing space to read/write poetry.
