In celebration of Women’s History Month, we honor the incredible women behind The British Pantry, a beloved Redmond business. Now, in its 43rd year, The British Pantry is owned and operated by the Redman family, is a testament to three generations of baking expertise, with a special focus on the contributions of Mavis Redman. Mavis learned the art of baking at her father’s side in Swinton, England, where she honed her craft, which she then brought to Redmond. Alongside her children, Neville and Alvia, Mavis has nurtured the tradition of British baking, passing down these skills through generations.
