More About the 2 Line
The Sound Transit 2 Line East Link Extension, spanning 14 miles with 10 stations, connects Seattle’s International District to Judkins Park, crosses I-90 to Mercer Island and South Bellevue, and traverses through downtown Bellevue and the Bel-Red area to Redmond Technology Station. The segment between South Bellevue and Redmond Technology Station opened on April 27, 2024, with the remaining portion linking the east side to Seattle’s 1 Line set to open in 2025. This extension offers peak hour service every 8 minutes, facilitating a swift 10-minute commute from Redmond Technology to Bellevue Downtown.
